Prosecutor Demands Prison Term for Russian Opposition Leader Jul 5th 2013, 07:56 Russian state prosecutors have asked a court to convict an opposition leader charged with embezzlement and sentence him to six years in prison. Prosecutor Sergei Bogdanov told the court in the city of Kirov on Friday that Alexei Navalny, who led protests against President Vladimir Putin, should also be fined $30,000.
