Afghan officials say a group of suicide bombers has attacked a police base in the eastern city of Jalalabad, killing at least five officers. Police say at least seven militants were involved in the early Tuesday assault. The Taliban immediately claimed responsibility. The attack came as U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry made a brief visit to the country. Kerry met with President Hamid Karzai in Kabul Monday. Police had already said no third party was involved in his death and a medical examiner said there was no sign of a violent struggle. Berezovsky left no suicide note and the reason he apparently took his own life is a mystery. The 67-year-old Berezovsky made much of his fortune grabbing control of state enterprises ...
