A Chinese citizen pleaded guilty in U.S. federal court Monday to charges of trying to illegally send a large amount of a high-tech carbon fiber back to China. Ming Suan Zhang faces up to 20 years in prison and a $1 million fine when he is sentenced in November. Undercover agents arrested him last year when he tried to acquire the fiber for what he said was a test flight of a Chinese fighter jet. The United States is continuing its investigation.
