A second contaminated New Zealand milk product destined for China has been banned, just weeks after shipments of milk containing botulism bacteria were halted. New Zealand's agricultural regulator said Monday that it had cancelled export certificates for four consignments of lactoferrin, which provides antibacterial activity to human infants, after it was found to contain excessive levels of nitrate. 12 Killed in Indian Train Accident

Officials in eastern India say a train has plowed into group of Hindu pilgrims, killing at least 12 people. It was not immediately clear why the victims were on the train tracks as the train approached the station. Authorities say the incident happened Monday in the Saharsa district in the state of Bihar. Local officials say angry witnesses set several coaches on fire after the accident.
