The U.S. Postal Service says it will stop delivering mail on Saturdays under a plan aimed at saving about $2 billion a year. But the financially struggling service says it will still deliver packages six days a week. The cutback is expected to begin in August. The delivery of letters and other mail has declined due to the use of e-mail and other Internet services being used for personal and business communications.
