Syrian Opposition to Form Government in Rebel Areas Feb 22nd 2013, 18:53 Syria's Opposition National Coalition has announced plans to form a provisional government in rebel-held areas of the country.   An opposition spokesman made the comment Friday following a meeting in Cairo about whether to hold peace talks with President Bashar al-Assad's government.   The spokesman said the coalition will meet in Istanbul on March 2 to chose its prime minister.   Assad has not commented on the announcement, which comes as violence continues to plague ...
