Afghan authorities say separate attacks have killed a provincial police chief and a women's affairs official. Officials say a roadside bomb Monday killed General Mohammad Musa Rasouli, head of police in Afghanistan's western Nimroz province, as he was traveling back to Nimroz from nearby Herat province. Rasouli was rushed to the hospital but died from his wounds. Also Monday, insurgents killed Najia Sideqi, the acting provincial director of women's affairs in Laghman province, ...
