Protesters Storm German Embassy in Sudan's Capital Sep 14th 2012, 13:12 Witnesses say protesters have stormed the German embassy in Sudan's capital and torn down the German flag. Initial reports from Khartoum say the protesters broke into the embassy Friday afternoon, and that part of the facility is on fire. U.S. embassies across the Middle East have been targeted by mobs this week.  This is the first major protest of the week targeting a Western embassy in sub-Saharan Africa.
