US Commander in Afghanistan Visits Pakistan Aug 2nd 2012, 09:58 The commander of U.S. and NATO forces in Afghanistan is holding talks in Islamabad Thursday for the first time since Pakistan ended its seven-month blockade of NATO supplies. Pakistan's military says General John Allen met with Pakistani army chief General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani. The military says the discussions included ways to improve coordination along the border between Afghanistan and Pakistan.
