Chinese Factory Output, Inflation Slow Aug 9th 2012, 13:51 China says its factory production growth has dropped to a three-year low. Beijing also says its inflation rate eased in July for the fourth consecutive month, giving the government more room to loosen its fiscal policies to spur growth in its slowing economy. The National Bureau of Statistics says consumer prices rose by 1.8 percent in July compared to July 2011.
