The heaviest rains to hit Beijing in more than six decades killed 10 people and forced the evacuation of at least 50,000. China's official Xinhua news agency reports Sunday that massive flooding trapped scores of residents and left cars floating in the streets. It also reports that Beijing international airport canceled hundreds of flights, stranding at least 80,000 travellers.
