Rights Group Accuse Indian Government, Maoists of Targeting Activists Jul 30th 2012, 15:22 NEW DELHI — A new Human Rights Watch report says that in India, civil society activists working in remote, Maoist-dominated areas face threats and attacks from both rebels and authorities. The U.S.-based group says this is impeding the delivery of aid in underdeveloped regions.
