Muslim Olympians Face Ramadan Fasting Choices Jun 12th 2012, 20:44 T o eat or not to eat? That is the question for about 3,000 Muslim athletes in London's 2012 Summer Olympic Games. All 17 days of competition, from July 27 to August 12, fall within the holy month of Ramadan - a time when Muslims are required to fast and refrain from drinking water from sunrise to sunset.
