There were two separate multi-million-dollar settlements in Los Angeles, California Tuesday, involving different cases of multiple child abuse. The Roman Catholic Archdiocese agreed to pay $10 million to four men who say they were abused by a former priest when they were boys. The victims sued the Church and its former head, Cardinal Roger Mahony, who is in Rome as part of the conclave electing a new pope.
