Activists in Egypt have created a makeshift museum to chronicle the last two years of uprisings and political protest. A branch of the museum has been set up across the street from the presidential palace in Cairo. Opposition protests continue several nights a week in front of the presidential palace. President Barack Obama says he is prepared to do "tough things" to reach a deal with Republicans on deficit reduction. The president said Wednesday there is no reason for the talks to fail. Obama told reporters he is optimistic that he and the Republicans can agree on cutting the U.S. deficit, to prevent deep spending cuts and large tax increases from taking effect January 1.
