Clooney to Host Star-Studded Obama Fundraiser May 10th 2012, 16:24 U.S. President Barack Obama has departed Washington on a trip to California where he will attend a fundraiser Thursday evening at the home of Hollywood star George Clooney. 150 donors have been invited to dine with the president. The dinner is expected to raise $15 million for Obama's re-election campaign. $6 million of that amount comes from attendees who paid $40,000 per ticket to the event. Renowned News Photographer Horst Faas Dies May 11th 2012, 17:46 Two-time Pulitzer-prize-winning German photographer Horst Faas, known for his Vietnam War coverage, has died. He was 79 years old. Faas died Thursday in Munich, where he had been hospitalized since February. He covered the Vietnam War from 1962 to 1974 and won a Pulitzer award in 1965 for his war photography.
