Pulitzer Prize Winning Novelist Oscar Hijuelos Dies at 62 Oct 14th 2013, 00:11 Pulitzer Prize-winning Cuban-American novelist Oscar Hijuelos, best known as the author of The Mambo Kings Play Songs of Love, has died. His wife said Hijuelos collapsed while playing tennis in New York. He was 62.
