The U.S. government says it has sentenced a high-level Colombian drug trafficker to more than 16 years in prison. The Justice Department says Jose Maria Corredor-Ibague, also known as Boyaco, is the first person to be indicted and convicted under a recent federal narco-terrorism statute.
