False Reports on Mandela's Hospital Release Aug 31st 2013, 07:41, by webdesk@voanews.com (VOA News) South Africa's presidency says reports that former president Nelson Mandela has been released from the hospital are not true. A statement from President Jacob Zuma's office says Mr. Mandela is still in a Pretoria hospital where he remains in critical but stable condition. Earlier Saturday, various media accounts had Mr. Mandela home in Johannesburg after a lengthy hospital stay.
