California Republican Tops List of Wealthiest Lawmakers Aug 20th 2013, 23:31 Republican Daniel Issa of California has topped the list of the 50 richest members of the U.S. Congress. The annual list, released Tuesday by The Hill newspaper, is based on financial disclosure forms filed by the lawmakers. Issa, who earned his fortune in the car alarm business, has a minimum net worth of $355 million.
