Texas Governor Signs Restrictive Abortion Law Jul 18th 2013, 23:31, by webdesk@voanews.com (VOA News) Texas Governor Rick Perry has signed new abortion restrictions that could shutter most of the clinics in the state.   The new law bans abortions after the fifth month of pregnancy and dictates when abortion-inducing drugs can be taken. But it also requires abortion clinic doctors to have hospital admitting privileges and restricts abortions to surgical centers.
