Suicide Bombers Kill 5 Police in Eastern Afghanistan Mar 26th 2013, 04:21 Afghan officials say a group of suicide bombers has attacked a police base in the eastern city of Jalalabad, killing at least five officers. Police say at least seven militants were involved in the early Tuesday assault. The Taliban immediately claimed responsibility. The attack came as U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry made a brief visit to the country. Kerry met with President Hamid Karzai in Kabul Monday.
