South Sudan Politician Shuts Down State Assembly Feb 25th 2013, 15:09 The speaker of the Unity state assembly in South Sudan, Maguek Gai Majak, has refused to step down after a vote of no-confidence in him for alleged corruption and malpractice, and instead moved to close the assembly for a three-month recess.
