Rebels Say Second French Soldier Dies After Somali Raid Jan 14th 2013, 11:47 Somali rebel group al-Shabab says a second French soldier has died after a failed attempt by France to rescue one of its citizens being held hostage in Somalia. A rebel spokesman said Monday the soldier died from wounds suffered in the fighting to free military agent Denis Allex.  The spokesman repeated the group's claim that Allex is still alive.
