Indian Police Charge TV Channel for Gang-Rape Interview Jan 5th 2013, 12:17 Indian police said Saturday they have filed a case against an Indian news channel that aired an interview with the male companion of the 23-year-old Indian woman who died last week from injuries suffered in a brutal beating and gang rape on a bus in New Delhi. Police said they filed the charges against Zee TV because the interview could lead to the identification of the rape victim, breaking a law entitling her to anonymity.
