Workers Protest Move Against Unions in US Auto Producing State Dec 11th 2012, 20:29 Michigan House lawmakers Tuesday passed two contentious right-to-work bills that limit the influence of the American labor movement, while more than 10,000 protesters crowded the state capitol and marched outside in freezing temperatures. If enacted, the legislation would strike a heavy blow against unions by prohibiting them from compelling workers to be members and pay dues.
