Venezuelan President Chavez Suffers New Health Complications Dec 31st 2012, 02:22 Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez has suffered "new complications" after cancer surgery in Cuba. In a televised address from Cuba, his vice president, Nicolas Maduro, said Chavez continues to be in a "delicate state." Chavez underwent his fourth cancer surgery on December 11 in Cuba, but suffered a respiratory infection.
