Parliamentary Elections Under Way in Romania Dec 9th 2012, 14:23 Parliamentary elections are under way in Romania, with polls indicating the center-left ruling alliance is expected to win. Opinion polls put Prime Minister Victor Ponta's ruling Social-Liberal Union at about 57 percent, with President Traian Basecu's Right Romania Alliance trailing at a distant second with around 20 percent.
