Afghan authorities say separate attacks have killed a provincial police chief and a women's affairs official. Officials say a roadside bomb Monday killed General Mohammad Musa Rasouli, head of police in Afghanistan's western Nimroz province, as he was traveling back to Nimroz from nearby Herat province.
