Americans Rush to Stores for 'Black Friday' Deals Nov 23rd 2012, 14:48 The day after America's Thanksgiving holiday has become known as Black Friday, one of the biggest shopping days of the year.  Many shoppers began taking advantage of the post-Thanksgiving sales Thursday night, a time retailers used to be closed in observance of the holiday.
