Study Looks at Role Airports Play in Spread of Disease, Pandemics Aug 8th 2012, 09:58 LOS ANGELES — Researchers at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology have studied the role airports play in spreading disease and pandemics. They found that airports in New York, Los Angeles and Honolulu can spread disease more aggressively than others.   Airports and planes move more than only people.
