11 Killed in Afghan Helicopter Crash Aug 16th 2012, 12:58 NATO says a helicopter crash in southern Afghanistan has killed 11 people, including several international and Afghan troops. The coalition said three American troops and four other foreign service members were killed when the aircraft went down Thursday.  Three Afghan soldiers and one Afghan civilian interpreter also died.
