Olympic Asian Badminton Teams Accused of Playing to Lose Aug 1st 2012, 12:14 The fifth day of competition at the 2012 London Olympics began with controversy as the World Badminton Federation held a disciplinary hearing Wednesday for eight female players charged with misconduct for "not using one's best efforts to win a match."  Spectators at the Wembley Arena badminton venue booed Tuesday when doubles players from China, Indonesia and South Korea appeared to lose on purpose to secure a better draw in the later rounds.
