Murder Charge for South African Miners Sparks Outrage Aug 31st 2012, 15:56 JOHANNESBURG — South African prosecutors have invoked a little-used law to charge some 270 people with murder after police shot dead 34 striking miners outside a troubled platinum mine.  But it's not police who face charges - it's the miners themselves, who prosecutors say set the stage for the clash that ended with the deaths of their colleagues.   The charge was made eventhough no one disputes that  South African police pulled the trigger, killing 34 striking miners ...
