Chinese Arms Flowing Into Sudan Aug 27th 2012, 18:37 A new report shows China is a major player in supplying cheap weapons to Sub-Saharan Africa, including conflict zones like the Darfur region of Sudan, a practice that is in violation of United Nations sanctions. Chinese arms sales jumped from only 3 percent from the years 1996-2000 to 25 percent during the years 2006-2010. The weapons have shown up in a number of UN investigations, according to Pieter Wezeman, chief author of a report by the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute. ...
