Government officials in the Democratic Republic of Congo say 60 miners have been killed in a mine collapse in a remote northeast jungle. Authorities say the miners were digging for gold about 100 meters deep on Monday when the shaft collapsed. The site is located in Pangoyi in Orientale Province.
