Colorado Mass Shooting Suspect to Appear in Court Jul 30th 2012, 10:16 Movie theater shooting suspect James Holmes is scheduled to make another court appearance on Monday, when he is likely to be formally charged with murder and attempted murder. Prosecutors said last week they are considering pursuing the death penalty for Holmes, who allegedly killed 12 people and wounded 58 others July 20 at a midnight screening in Colorado of the new Batman film The Dark Knight Rises.
