US: 'Important Progress' at Pacific Trade Talks Jul 11th 2012, 19:38 The U.S. says that "important progress" has been achieved during the latest round of talks aimed at crafting a wide-ranging trade pact with eight other Pacific nations. The countries concluded their 13th round of negotiations on Tuesday in the western U.S. city of San Diego.
