North Korea: Kim Jong Un's Mystery Companion Is Wife Jul 25th 2012, 13:42 North Korean state television says a mystery woman who has accompanied new leader Kim Jong Un in recent public events is his wife. The station reports Kim and "Comrade Ri Sol Chu" toured a newly-built amusement park in Pyongyang. It appears to be North Korean media's first mention of the leader's wife.  Kim took over leadership of the reclusive state from his father Kim Jong Il, who died in December.
