Egyptian Lawmakers Meet in Defiance of Military Jul 10th 2012, 09:12 Egypt's Islamist-led parliament has reconvened in defiance of orders by the country's military and Supreme Court. The lower house of parliament met Tuesday, days after President Mohamed Morsi issued a decree reinstating the body. Egypt's supreme military council dissolved the parliament last month because of election irregularities in a move upheld by the Supreme Court.
