Hong Kong Reporter Detained Over Question to President Jun 30th 2012, 19:35 A Hong Kong reporter was briefly detained by police and a scuffle ensued after the reporter questioned Chinese President Hu Jintao about the 1989 pro-democracy Tiananmen Square demonstrations.  During a visit to a construction site, a reporter from Hong Kong's Apple Daily newspaper shouted a question to the visiting President Hu about the Tiananmen incident. The president either did not hear the question or ignored it. But reporter Rex Hon said police detained him shortly ...
